    This is starting to feel
like it might not go the way of the Euro 2017 champions. The Dutch fans away to
my right are starting to look a little deflated, but hold on, the band is
    giving them a welcome boost.

    There are 10,654 fans in
the stadium, which has a capacity of 24,000.

Time ticking away, this would be a great point for New Zealand.

Sarina Weigman’s mood is not improving. Would not want to be with her in the dressing room at FT.

  4. Post update

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

The Netherlands are firing in shots from all over the place, it pings around the NZ box, but breaks free for Erin Tayler to pounce on.

Into the final 10 minutes, can the Netherlands find a breakthrough?

  7. Post update

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

Danielle van de Donk loops a header at goal from Merel van Dongen’s crossfield pass, think Daley Blind to Robin van Persie at the 2014 World Cup, it’s exactly the same, but Van de Donk’s header drifts wide.

  8. Post update

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

New Zealand sub Paige Satchell – great name – wriggles clear, but her shot is plonked into the sidenetting.

  9. SUBSTITUTION

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

    Surprised by this change.

Jackie Groenen has been one of the better Dutch players, but Sarina Weigman calls her number and sends on Jill Roord instead.

  10. Best moment of the tournament so far?

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

Lieke Martens or Johan Cruyff? Who did it better?

Thumbs up for Martens, down for Cruyff.

A double change for New Zealand.

Hannah Wilkinson and Paige Satchell come on, with Rosie White and Sarah Gregorius hauled off.

    Cool as you like.

Netherlands have a two on one in the New Zealand box as Shanice van de Sanden breaks clear, but her cross is backheeled away by the unruffled CJ Bott with Vivianne Miedema sniffing around.

    Nicely done.

  13. SUBSTITUTION

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

Here comes a change for the Dutch.

Kika van Es comes off with Real Betis’ Merel van Dongen entering the action.

  14. Post update

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

    Netherlands getting frustrated.

Full-back Desiree van Lunteren fizzes a long-range strike over the crossbar when a pass to a team-mate would have been the better option.

  15. SUBSTITUTION

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

    First change for NZ.

Betsy Hassett is replaced by Annalie Longo.

  16. CLOSE!

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

If you want any player in this position, it is Viviane Miedema.

The Arsenal striker is picked out by Desiree van Lunteren’s inch-perfect low cross, but Miedema shoots straight at Erin Nayler from four yards out.

  17. CLOSE!

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

New Zealand are still causing problems for the Netherlands at the back.

Rosie White meets CJ Bott’s cross with a header which is pushed out somewhat unconvincingly by Sari van Veenendaal.

Would not have counted anyway, White was offside. A late flag went up.

  18. Dutch fans bringing the noise

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

    Alistair Magowan

    BBC Sport at Stade Océane

It may be goalless but the Dutch support hasn’t waned. They sense that goal is definitely coming.

    The Dutch band have
cranked up the noise in hope of an opening goal from their team. As much as
they try and break down this New Zealand defence, they are still standing firm.

Ali Riley is doing a good job on Shanice van de Sanden so far, but after that Vivianne
Miedema chance, how much closer can the Netherlands get?

  19. CLOSE!

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

    Agonisingly close.

Lieke Martens and Vivianne Miedema combine in the final third, but the Arsenal striker’s shot across the face of goal drifts inches wide of the far post.

  20. Post update

    New Zealand 0-0 Netherlands

New Zealand defender Rebekah Stott has been a towering presence at the back. She makes a crucial header to flick away Danielle van de Donk’s cross with two Dutch attackers readying themselves to convert.
